Once you have looked through the information on becoming a driving instructor you are ready to talk to us about your training course.

Time Scales:

We run our courses to suit the individual. If you have the time to take your training quickly then we will fast track you with a realistic timescale of 3 to 4 month being achievable.

If you are training around work and family commitments then anything between 6 and 12 months is quite normal.

Prospective instructors will be offered a permanent placement with Pro-motion on completion of training (subject to quality assessment)

Part 1 All course material Videos, essential handbooks, DVD and direct support.
Part 1 2 & 3 – In car total training of 40 hours for 1-to-1 professional training 1-to-1 professional Training of 12 hours. Broken down that is 12 hours of Training for Part 1&2 at hourly rate of £37 – 10 hrs block booked (discounted – from £40) & 40 hours for Part 3. Direct instructor support throughout training in a fully liveried training vehicle with dual controls. Instructors will support you all the way including on the day of your DVSA test. *terms & conditions

For a limited period instructor training cost will be held at last year’s prices

Common to both training routes:

Trainee ADI license – Earn while you learn. A further 20 hours of learning while your earn. You can apply for a trainee driving instructor license, which will allow you to drive with Pro-motion as a potential driving instructor. You will gain experience teaching pupils to drive whilst you prepare for your ADI part three test. This allows you to start earning a living as a driving instructor. The licence lasts for 6 mo
We will offer a guaranteed job at the end of the process Joining the Promotion family franchisee package.
